《汉语大字典》第三版修订将有针对性地进行修补，除了订正错误字形、规范文献出处的标注和补充有关字形外，最主要工作就是各种异体字的增补问题。其中在碑刻异体字增补方面应该注意如下几个问题：增收条目要俱全，字际关系要厘清，注音要精确，释义要简练，书证和例证其始见例尽可能要提前，凡增补项目要反复考究等。只有周密地审思这些细节问题，才能认真实现修订的目的，达到修订的预期效果。

The main target of revising Chinese Dictionary(the third edition) is focused on repairment: correcting wrong glyphs,standardizing the annotation of literature sources, supplementing related glyphs, and solving the problem of supplementing various variants, which is the most important work. Among them, the following issues should be noted when adding variant characters: the items should be complete; the relationship between characters needs to be clarified; Pinyin should be precise; definition should be concise; evidence and examples should be the earliest; supplementary projects need to be repeatedly examined, and so on. Only by thinking carefully about these details can we seriously achieve the goal of the revision and achieve the expected effect of the revision.
